I went down there last night and drilled some holes in front of the lower 528 boat launch and found 2.5 inches of clear ice and about 2 inches of soft ice from the rain last week that wasnt quiet frozen, but after today i am almost positive that will be frozen for a total of about 4-5 inches.  The shorline is still a little sloppy, but again after today and last night it should be good to go.  the middle of muddy creek looked much better than the shore.

Fished in Muddy Creek this weekend on 3.5-4 inches of ice.  About a dozen or so other fisherman out in just Muddy Creek.  Gills, Perch, and Crappie all biting good.

Checked of McDaniels launch tuesday.  found 3" of good ice with the slush on top frozen for another 4 -5 inches.

Better too far back, than too far forward.
