Another good WET day on the Susky!

Fished today from 1:30 till 4:30(rod and reel froze up!). Caught a 25 inch catfish, 3 smallmouth(biggest was 18) and 15 walleye, smallest on the stringer was 16, biggest was 26 inches. All to myself except for 2 guys in a boat, saw them catch about 3 walleye. The fish were on fire from 3:30 til about 4. Also lost one Musky about 38 inches, straightned out the hook! Can't wait to go back tomorrow. Funny thing is I have invited 5 or 6 people to go and nobody wants to go. Think its to far to walk!! Can't believe how lazy guys are when it comes to hunting or fishing!!!

    Your reports have entertained me and made me a bit jealous for quite some time now.  Sounds like you are really into a great spot!  How far is the trip from Central PA?  My fishing buddy and I have not spent enough time fishing walleyes in the Juniata or the Raystown branch for that matter.  We have been skunked more than usual this whole year!

    I fish near Sunbury. I will admit this has been an exceptional year for walleye on the Susquehanna River. But I am still amazed that guys are not fishing! You have to enjoy it while it lasts. I have not done good on eyes in the river since 2004. I had to take some pictures(throw away camera) because no one believed me. I have a picture of a stringer of fish on my cell phone, one guy told me I downloaded it from the internet!!! I am use to it because an average day fishing in Erie is an exceptional day anywhere else. Life is too short to waste it watching T.V.!!!! Pain(or cold) is only temporary.

    Agreed, I did not doubt your success, I am honestly jealous!  It has been a tough year for me on the Juniata so a Walleye trip may be a good diversion.   One of they guys I typically fish with is "hardcore" his biggest eyes from the J came out in the cold of winter!
