    One of the recent magazines I read had an article about the 715. I'll see if I can find it and let you know what it said. If I remember right, the testers liked the gun.

    For the same price or slightly i think you could get alot better gun.  New savage stuff is really hard to beat for the money and they are deadly accurate.  Weatherby vangaurd rifles are also sweet right out of the box claiming 1.5" MOA accuracy guaranteed.

    Ive seen the weatherby's for like 379-399 bucks depending on what you want.
     
    Its just kinda hard to look at a rifle and walk away because of the price...you keep a gun for so long...in most cases im sure 90% of the hunters have dads or grand dads guns as well that still shoot....

    i got the remington model 710 its great i got it out of its box it wasnt sighted in like they said it was used half a box of shells to sight it in but after i got it dailed in at 100 yrds its deadly now i found that the winchester ballistic silver tips work best

    i just seen one yesterday never heard of it so i was just wondering i like ruger and savage i own a few of both but was thinking of getting that remington for a gun a can push with

    id get one of the pump guns forget the model i think its 760 or 7600 not sure if your gonna push that way you can have a quick follow up shot

    Unless you really love the 715, save up and get a Browning A-bolt

    715 is a budget rifle....for like $200 bucks you can get a much higher quality gun...plain and simple.
