Allegheny Reservoir, East Branch Lake, Glendale, Curwensville, and there are even a few in Sayers.
The walleye fishing is tough in these lakes, but they are in there. If you want "easy" walleye fishing go to pymatuning.

I wouldn't exactly consider the walleye in Pymatuning 'easy'. Few and far between anymore.

the Kid and I went wading in the West Branch of the Susquehanna yesterday around Lewisburg...caught a bunch of smallmouths in the 10-12 range....cool water on a hot day......a good time was had by all.....

Thought you said Central PA? Your Lewisburg was about the only one other than currensville but lewisburg was not a lake. Seeing walleye being caught at a frequent rate of any kind would have to be in the Susquehanna Ri. About October or hunting season the walleye get real strong on the catch rate at the Dauphin narrows or from the Juniata/Susquehanna down to I81 bridge of Harrisburg. Also The spillway of Raystown in early Spring. Its not that we don't have walleye in the lakes , Its that the number is low and many of the small lakes are sleepers yet biologist reports find them if your reading the reports. I've seen the pictures in the local paper of walleye in Pinchot spillway yet very few catches are produced by fishermen and if I remember > most were 0ver 4 lbs with some two big to electroshock. I watch whats caught in the lakes of South Central Pa and locate the area's that certain fish prefer . Its listed on my maps.This is not a active time of year unless we get some heavy rain so your best bet now is night fishing the holes in the river.

I bet sayers dam holds more walleye then most people think. Im going to try it later in july fish the brest in deeper waters.

MIKASTORM! What are "TROUGHT"? and I was talking about walleye unless the name trought is a slang name. If you ment "trout" then I agree > I too can go catch a mess of trout (stocked trout). Changing up to walleye or N.pike can be slow this time of year on smaller waterways due to lack of cool water. I don't know or hear of anyone catching 20 or 20+ walleye in central Pa. lakes unles its on ice but not in one visit. Be glad to hear of someone who does this time of year.

Trought are stought trout.  Try Kinzue at the NY boarder drifting leaches. If you can, get a reservation permit and work the river channel and you will catch alot of eyes.

Pymy was easy, now it's brutal except in the early spring! They still congrigate early at in flowing water to the lake.

Put about 15 and a half hrs on this lake/river and only caught a few nice bass. Some people up there brag how great it is for walleye i dont think so and yes we do know how to fish for walleye we have caught fish elsewhere.

Fished the Susquehanna yesterday at Danville...caught one smallie....water level is two and a half feet in most places...ended up taking the bow out in the afternoon for carp.....action was slow......
