    Help please. Every website sends me in circles so I've come to you all for help. My father lives outside of Erie, PA. He loves to fish, but doesn't get out much and is new to the area. He's recently retired and undergone two recent brain operations to remove non-malignant tumors, but you'd never know it! For Christmas, I was thinking about giving him a day trip away from home to go ice fishing at Presque Isle Bay or somewhere else nearby Erie/Meadville area. I'm not sure if he's ever done it before. I need a professional place that would provide everything, including equipment, instruction and a shelter while fishing to stay warm. He gets cold very easily. I'd like to give him a day of "escape"...sort of like a spa day for MEN! Can anyone recommend a place to book such a trip through? I live in the NYC area and need to book/research online. Your help would be appreciated.

    I'm not a wealth of info, but I would suggest the same post on the Ohio board. Have not heard of such accomadations in Pa. , but could be wrong.

    If he is capable of traveling and not adverse to a few hours drive you might want to google ice fishing at Lake Simcoe ( canada )
