Not to long now

Been seeing some hard water on the way to work in S. NY..Mabee we can get some early ice for a change instead of waiting till Jan...

    I get my hopes up for that every year Bings...hasn't happened for me for 5 or 6 years...we'll see...keep your fingers crossed.

    Shenango in mercer county has a thin layer of ice on the eastern end.  That will be gone soon I'm sure.  They are forcasting a cold winter this year,  lets hope!!

    up in the mountains last week just about all the creeks were froze up already

    Shenango water temps are down to 36*. Hope to get out at least a week before X-mas. Time to check my shanty. Might have to tighten some nuts and bolts from last season.

    Stonewall in WVA was 34 last week.  The pond in Cranberry woods is completley froze over as of yesterday.......Its a comin.....woohoo!

    1.5" on pond this morning... mother nature's a tease. With my luck it will lock up and then melt off just in time for the holidays...

    MM do you work in cranberry woods? Went by Arthur yesterday and the bays are got some ice about 1/2 the bay i seen from 422 near 528

    I haven't made it up myself but guys i know from another site claim high point in somerset county has 6 inchs and more as of yesterday. There are reports on that site of guys being on the lake and fishing.

    Yeah I'm there a fair amount in the winter. I live about ten minutes from there.Man do ever see all deer. I have seen herds of 20-30 like its nothing. Wish i could hunt it.

    Most of the deer got pushed from the Westinghouse project going on there. Seeing 50-60 deer on a drive around was the norm
