My Last day of Archery

Went out today... cold and windy ... nothing until a big 9 pt run straight towards me... grabbed my bow and stood up.. drew back grunted at the buck to stop it... stopped 3 yds from my tree.. angled my bow down. arrow well right off.. spooked the deer!! I was sick.. later it was getting dark too a 30 yd shot at a mature doe. missed just under the chin (wind played a major factor i beleive)... There is always rifle and late archery. Thats why its called hunting.

    Justin, check out the whisker bisquit, that won't happen with the whisker bisquit, my friends used it for years, I was skeptical until I tried it, I have used it tha last four years, won't change back.  Good luck.  John

    I concur, the best rest out there.  There are several imitators but the original is the best.  That will never happen again.

    If you take a look at most of the current drop aways, it's pretty hard to make your arrow fall off them.

    I hate a whisker biscuit.... I had that problem two years ago so i went out and bought one... Love it! this time my bow was sitting in the holder for about 3 hours and i don't think the knock was completely on the line... when i tilted the bow down the knock just came off my string and the arrow ended up sticking in my whisker buiscuit.. went to click it back onto the string but by that time he was 50 yds away. But yes I seem to encounter all the problems.. something new every year... I love it though
