11/11 sr report

Hit the mid river today under dressed as always, they don't call me shivers for nothing, But started floating beads right off the get go had one take but missed the set with the bow in the line from the wind. Made the change to sacks under a float third drift in the same run I just made fiftey drifts with the bead, the float dropped with a head shake a beautiful double digit hen skipped across the surface and down the rapids she went. Retied and kept making the same drift and it would seem a new fish would move in after you caught one. It made it easy I stayed on the same rock and had 8 fish on that I can say were hooked and about four more takes and blown sacks. I had the aera to my self it was nice I could sit on the bank have a coffee let the run rest all in all a beautiful day except for the darn wind.

waDerboy is an old man with a life and an ever increasing number of physical ailments that keep getting in the way.
By the way passing over some of the more northern tribs on my way home from spending my anniversery in the islands made it look as if you got a good amount of water last weekend. They looked brown, not blown, and VERY fishy.

    Too mean.

But if you can get her to stop sticking needles in the vodoo dolls feet I would appreciate it! Just ain't much fun walking the river when every step brings more pain.

Us old guys can't wait for you whippersnapper's to start getting old.

Meanwhile, don't forget to leave the easily accessible spots for the older guys; some of them cannot walk long distances. Then there's Bob the ironworker who is 80 something and will just throw you over his shoulder and carry you a mile away if you're in his spot.

Why sure---or I can slit your throat, string you up like a salmon and float you down and drag you back up----Btw fishing was good 1st thing this am--left hot fishing to try to preserve the fish for Travis and his bride. She had landed a skipper in the 15min b4 I had to leave.

Nice. I wish I could be there about now.
When I was up in Sept. some old dude (83 I think) caught a King. I don't know if it was a tail, or mouth hook. Just saw him drag it out. My dad had talked to him earlier & asked his age.

Oh the humanity. Now its threats of a slit throat is it?
A dozen or so years ago I broke my ankle near the head of the uopper snag hole. My good friend Lucky 13 tells me  he'll carry me out but he's going to have to gut me like a deer first. Couldn't have gone more than 230 or so at the time.
