Floating Jigs

Anyone ever use floating jigs? If so, do the sell them all ready tied anywhere like Mini Foos or another brand. I have been searching the web but all I can find is jig heads, no floating tied jig heads. Any sugestions? Also, if you have used them are the a good for catchng steelies or perch tipped with a wax worm or maggot?

You can find the floating heads at any tackle company! They are more used for floating crawlers or minnies for walleye and won't have any body to them. But you could always tie some maribu or something into them.
Used on the lake, Im sure they'll produce a few fish, but aren't really necassary on the tribs.

All floating jigs I've seen have a very thin wire hook, that helps it float easier.  Those hooks, while fine for reeling in Logeyes, would probably straighten out in an instant with steelhead.

You can make your own. Get the small round floats that are used in walleye rigs or use small corks. Put them on the hook by the eye and then you can tie in you feather tail.
