end of the month trip

Im gonna be making a trip to erie with 2 other people if not more for the weekend at the end of the month. We were talking about camping out or staying at a hotel... camping is always better then a hotel but the upsides of a hotel is showers and warmth.

We know the hotel cost but dont know the camping cost.... would anyone have any idea what some of the camp sites rates are. I hear uncle johns is expensive especially if u get a cabin is that true?

any info would be helpful. thanks

Uncle John's is $25 per campsite, I believe, whether 3 guys in one tent, or three guys each in their own tent, crowded into one spot.  $20-25 is about the going rate for a campsite for tents.  Pricey, yes, but dem's de breaks.

kyler, years ago we would camp at pymatuning, in tents, in early april for the walleye run.  we were cold half the time, but 35 years later, we still laugh at the memories.  just don't bathe in the creeks

There are some good campsites in my backyard.  No electric hookups, but you can use the barn for a bathroom.  Elk is only about 200 yards behind the house.  Limited spots available though.

Uncle John's has 3 cabins as well...I think you can rent one of the cabins for between $60-$75.  Rates may vary, but the advantage is that you'd be right on the creek.  Good Luck.
