Bonus Fish!

Fished a few different tribs in western lake ontario area all last week and picked up a few bonus fish!...i guess with the warm weather still around they were willing to bite well...caught a few smallmouth, a perch, and my first Pike EVER!...not too many of those lurking around here in WV...so that was awesome...always a thrill to cast for a salmon and catch something and go "what the hell?"
 

thanks man...yeah i was dead drifting a rather large shiner i had just caught for kicks and giggles and next thing i know the line went slack so i knew something picked it up so i started to crank him in and it was the wierdest feeling ever because i was expecting to hook into a salmon/brown/steelie/smallmouth and instead i get this long dude!...awesome feeling to know i've lived on a river/lake bank since i was 4 and finally getting to catch a pike!..i can now mark it off my list of fish to catch in my lifetime...

Never know whats lurking in the creeks.

Ill be hammering the fish next week game is on.  Maybe commander can join us.
