The crowds were crazy today, but we still managed to find some open water way up stream... Its all good though most people we ran into were very friendly

Nice fish! I had the same luck last week. Could have had a few kings but just like my rod breaking on the first day, the net men cracked under pressure.

Definitely need good net men, I have to give credit to Uncle Kevin and The Heater(especially The Heater) for stepping up and helping Tippy and I land those browns.

We know the samenzs all too well, wanted to target something different, like the browns and steel. I'm not sure that Erie has steel head bigger than the ones in the SR, I caught the biggest steel head of my life this weekend, never came close to catching some chrome that big in Erie.

These guys are jackers, Those browns are only like 5 pounds at best. Where are the reel fish. What Tipppe-Toe didn't tell anyone is that he paid some real fisherman to get a picture taken with their fish..... four of those dudes caught 6 fish over 3 days.....Nice work Tippee. Sorry TB wasn't there to hold your hand and tie on your flies..

four of those dudes caught 6 fish over 3 days.. Sounds to me like an honest report by guys that were actually fishing. Looks like they enjoyed their time on the river. Could they have done better? Sure. But, IMO their report sure is better than the "18 for 50" BS that the snaggers & liners boast about all too often.

Good post! Glad you guys had a good time. Wish I were there. Inuk, I have to rein you in a little. We landed a few and that was miraculous. We had about 100 fish hooked up though and that is no BS but we were using light line in 900 cfs water - I'm not so sure anyone would have landed one of those PO'd mudsharks under those conditions. Scudbug and I had about 20 fish "to" the net, but the slippy rocks were too much to contend with...:)
We'll show you guys some real pix of browns in a couple of weeks. I could post a couple of pix of browns from Spring Creek that rival the ones you guys caught with 8 weight rods and 8lb tippet....:)
