I'm surprised at the lack of Browns to this point in the season. Around Hamlin, the Salmon catches are slacking off, but some nice Rainbows (4-10 lb.) are coming close to shore and are hitting on Chartreuse, Red and Yellow Cleos...

Did well at Burt and Oak the past couple of days.  Big browns starting to enter the streams, as well as some steel.  You have to kind of dodge the stank salmon tho.  Oak had good water, Burt low and full of grass.  Just for S#$TS and giggles, killed some time watching the zoo at both dams.  you need a good laugh after a tough day of fishing, there's your spots to get it.

Glad to hear the Browns are running in the bigger flows, but the smaller creeks are too low and we could use a good rain to get them running. At the outlets the Salmon have thinned out, but the Rainbows are in close and hitting and should be moving up the creeks soon.
