Rod carriers

Has anyone found a tube or canvas tube carrier that works for CP rods with the reel attached. The Salmon/Steelhead rod tube from Cabela's will work but is $60.00 and has a internal length of 55". My Raven is 56". It would work for a 13' and under. Anyone want to chime in?

    I dont believe Fishusa has them, all I saw was the St.Croix ones that go up to 10'6. Since they do not have them I will give the name of a shop that does. Erie Outfitters-4409498934.

    Clear Creek makes special order tubes that work perfectly.  I used to get them for custom rods.  They are in the spinning/spey line.  You specify the tube diameter and length.  They will work for spinning rods also.  They only list up to 2.5" tubes on the website, but I've ordered them to 4" in the past for extra high guides.

    So I called a Cabela's store not the cataloge dept. and got someone to see if they could put a 56" blank in the carrier. It was tight but it fit. you guys need to check these out.

    Frabill bazuka.  It will hold your pin and rod.  Its big but extends to almost 9 foot long.

    GUYS, Check out the Salmon/steelhead rod tube from cabelas. It holds a 13'6" 4 piece with the reel attached. it is so freaking cool. Great protection and portability.
