jig color

i noticed the steel busting black jigs w/ blue flash in 6"-12" visibility water. what color combos have you seen work in less than 1' vis. water?

    Today I fished a black size 4 trout retriever with a 5/32 wide strip of blue tinsel on the back instead of turkey wing. 5 steelhead came to the boat with that one in their beak.

    It is a brown stone fly like a kaufmans tied with a tungsten bead head, and 30 wraps of .035 lead on the hook. Dubbed body, brown, black tarantula legs, black goose boits for the tail and antennae. The biggest difference is like a real stone fly it is skinny. The Kaufman's stone is to fat. The wing casings on the back are normally 3 v cut pcs of turkey wings. I used 5/16 blue holographic tinsel since I had no turkey wing left.

    Alright since this is basically me, type trout retriever in google, look for the pacific flyfishers website and see the image that way.
