A few things for you guys

First... let me say, i went back to a wisker biscut.

i got my bow out to shoot, my trophy ridge drop zone froze on the first shot. I couldnt force the arm back down. That too me was enough to do me in on moving parts on a hunting bow. I put another biscut on(had one before) and i actually think its QUIETER!

I also decided on a new release. I bought the TruBall Pro Diamond which is a four finger thumb release and after shooting that I will never go back to a wrist strap. I carry an old release for an emergency incase i would drop the new one but man oh man worth the $100. The whole head spins so theres zero torque. You can adjust the trigger sensitivity. Anyone thinking about a four finger release I highly recommend this one. You can get an optional wrist strap or lanyard for it if you want. Best feature is you can just clip it on the bow and let it hang. At the moment of truth, grab and draw, no fumbling around to get the release clipped on.

I tell guys all the time to stay away from trophy ridge dropaway for that very reason.  Some have bad experiences with them, others not.  Ripcord and zero effect are the most quiet; zero maintenance from the folks I know that use them.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

I have the zero-effect on my bow.  Never had any problems with it.  I liked the design of it; it is inertia driven rather than cable or string operated.  Just seemed like one less thing to fail on me.

The only other rest i considered was the zero effect. My friends shoot them, they are nice.
