Gold Carrot Stix > E21 Boyd Duckett Classic Gold Fishing Rods - Spinning

E21 Boyd Duckett Classic Gold Fishing Rods - Spinning

E21 Boyd Duckett Classic Gold Fishing Rods - Spinning
Designed by Boyd Duckett 37th Bassmaster Classic World Champion and Ken Whiting the ''Wizard of Rods'', the E21 Classic Gold series is a striking combination of versatility and performance. From its high tech Stress Free blank design in high modulus graphite and Nano Cellulose Bio-Fibers to its anodized aluminum weight port butt cap the Classic Gold series is one fine piece of fishing equipment. Maticulous attention to detail is paid to the construction of each and every Classic Gold rod as noted by many inherent features which would typically, only be found on custom rods. For example, locking wraps on each single foot guide, guides with no ceramics to crack or fall out, the easy access weight port for personal balancing and E21's in house Maximum Exposure II split reel seat for the ultimate in blank / hand contact and sensitivity. In terms of performance the Classic Gold Carrot Stix series of fishing rods exhibits an extremely well balanced combination of lure presentation, castability and overall rod control. As Boyd said, If this wasn’t the sweetest rod I’ve ever fished with, it wouldn’t have my name on it.

Although I don't own one (die hard Kistler rod guy), they are pretty nice rods. I have a friend who has a few and he loves 'em.

Look for them in the brush at Pymo. I hear people throw all sorts of things in there.

I love these rods. I own 6 of them. All baitcaster. Light and sensitive but powerful enough for getting em' out of heavy cover. Best place to get them is Susquehanna Tackle. They'll ship em' regular mail and if you order it in the morning you will have it next day. Don't bother paying the extra $100 for the Boyd Duckett model. The $150 series is a really quality rod.

Normally I wouldn't promote another tackle store on this site but FishUSA does not carry this brand of rod.
    Couple of other things:
I think the power ratings on the rods are a bit high. I throw lighter baits than the rod is rated for without problem.
Also, best to call in your order on the 800 #. Faster response.
