I like Fishing with the technologically advanced

My friend KR made a little video of our last outing . He doesn't fish much but he shoots and edits pretty good

    Man...  The Smallies are BACK!!!

Awesome...  I still think that the Mohawk is one of the best Smallie rivers in the Northeast...  Everyone always says that I am nuts- but that river almost ALWAYS seems to produce fat fish...

And they are as tough as nails...  I nail them with black muddlers and hair bugs with big zonker strips...

But every Bronzeback is a sucker for a crawfish or a helgrammite!

    Awesome man!

Awesome vid Dan. Smallies look bigger than my stretch of the river.

When hell freezes over, I'll fish there too.

Here is a look at those streamers, Dan...  I can tie you up a dozen when I get my hands on more squirrel strips...

Looks like I am due for a trip to Goldstocks...  But usually save my tying for the winter months...  I have about a half dozen styles I stick with, and crank them right out...

Mostly trout flies- but I like these big zonkers for Smallies...  The strips move WAY better than maribou, almost on their own!

The "cotton candy" color looks silly in the box...  But in the water it is LETHAL...  Like a blood trail or something...

Here are a few of my favorites .  The Flashdancers and the estaz buggers get the most use when the topwater bite is off .

    Perverted Flashdancer

    meat whistle

    Zara spook thing

    EP perch

Cone head estaz buggers with rabbit and rubber .
