ok boys dont waste your time the crappie bit is done for the year  just all dinks fished all day thursday only 6 keepers and about 200 dinks...

I guess it depends on what you are looking for....spending a day on the lake and catching 200 "dinks" is a pretty fun day in my book.....

hunt, fish, sleep, repeat

Ya it was fun but im a big fish eater same as my family we love crappies. Its still nice to get out

Were you caughting them up shallow or out deep? The spawn should be over by now. What was surface temp. of water?

This last trip the water temp started in the morning at 64 and hit 70 bye evening . the small black crappie were still close to shore but the big ones i got a few weeks ago were not in the shallow area i fished then.  The big school that hangs around the causeway bridge was there mostly all dinks got a few legal ones though.
