Sightings.

I counted 24 birds in my yard yesterday. Three hens with there young. Looks like they had a good hatch this year.

I've been seeing lots of birds, despite thick, grown-in terrain.  Fall season is the first two weeks of November this year.

My reports and advice are for everyone to enjoy, not just the paying customers.

Saw 33 yesterday in a field gathering hoppers. 5 adults. A good hatch for sure.

I ran into a flock just off of Slippery Rock creek that were roosted as i walked out of the woods

there was a little less than 20 but I could not get a good count because they were flying in all different directions

If the world needed and enema, they'd put the tube in Philadelphia. Go Pens!

    Nice flock behind my house.
    5 hens with there paults.
The gobblers are about a half mile away.
Seems they hang together this time of year.

Seein a bunch here too.  Saw a flock of over 70 two saturdays ago, had never seen one that big.  I had traffic backed up for 100 yards while I was counting.

Better too far back, than too far forward.

How close are you to Lock Haven? I went to college there, and haven't been back to hunt in a couple of years. My plans were to try arounf Farrandsville on Saturday, any thoughts?

Hey thanks, it's not often you find guys willing to actually have conversations on here, most just want to share success stories and tell everyone else to get lost. We'll probably try lower in the morning and move up the mountain as the day goes on. Have you ever hunted in farrandsville, they started really putting in food plots the last time I was there.

I,m not sure where you,re at. My camp is between Smethport and Emporium on 46.
Where I saw most birds was in the Clairmont area. Actually had a flock walk up to me while cutting wood for camp.
