Have been out in the woods a few nights here and there. Mid July - first week of August is the time to see rattlesnakes.

Here's the first from last week.

Took a friend last evening. He's never seen one in the wild. Didn't think we had much of a shot. Came across a small one, about 26 inches, yellow phase with a black head. Didn't get a pic however.

I'll try to get a good pic of a few. Got a better camera on the way.
