anyone catching eyes in woodcock if so where at never been befor thinking of going

Just a tip from one new guy to another that asking where people are catching fish usually wont get you to many good answers. You usually have to stick with maybe asking how people are catching the walleye or if anyone is doing any good, but even then you usually wont get to many specific answers. As far as woodcock goes, I have fished the spill way before and there are walleye in there but its a high pressure spot and can be tough fishing sometimes. Ive never fished the lake because i have no boat. Dont really know of any good shore fishing spots up there. Good luck if you decide to head up there.

I've had some luck drifting across the beach from the campgrounds. Try at about 15+ feet and leave bait 4-6 inches from bottom. That or just stick to the main channel or just outside it and troll.
