Pray. Have lots of luck. Get info on How to become a Bassmaser ,because its alot of steps. If it is your dream and you can survive fishing god bless ya. I have a fishing tournament coming up memorial day. Its more like a drinking game with fishing and boats.

Well said.Good luck to you.All I know is that the pros are complaining a lot about the gas prices, but that may not matter if you are local.Good luck to you again, god bless.

I'm with goby. It's not for everyone. Did about 4 years, and even though my boy and I won 1 and placed a couple times, finally stood outside the box and realized that the main reason we fished ,had disappeared. Instead of laughing or doing "the dance" we were actually getting pis#$# when we would lose a fish. Much happier now.A buck for the first fish is as far as it goes now !

Can be fun and rewarding. Buddy of mine that does the walleye trail won a touny last month and pocketed $22,000. But you have to want to fish 24/7.

If you are into bass fishing then go to www.pabass.com and click on the district 6 page under the districts ( northwest pa) if that is where you are interested in fishing. On that page you will find a list of contacts and they can give you the info on clubs to join in your area. Start small with the club tournaments, and if you like them then move up to the districts, regionals, states, and other circuits.

Get in the game and dont let any negaitve people distract you from your ambitions. Obviously tournament angling isnt for everybody, but some people are awesome at it. Get out there and try it. Whats the worst thing that could happen. Maybe you wont come in first place. Check out PI Bass. They have a bunch of local tournaments so its a great place to get your feet wet. Good luck.

I belong to the Crawford County Bassmasters, an FLW Federtion affiliated club.

We allow guests to come and fish 3 club tournaments so you can see what tournament angling is about.

Feel free to drop me a PM if interested.

Btw, as mentioned, PIB is a good club also.
