New kayak...

I have been looking and researching kayaks to mainly fish from...I have narrowed it down to 2 models
 
Field and stream eagle talon
 
Preception Sport caster angler
 
whats your guys thoughts?

    After looking at both models , My choice would be the F&S eagle talon.
     
    However it looks to me like the front rod holder is farther away from you in the F&S. Reach could be a problem.  And both have adjustable foot pegs which I found out I didnt like and could possibly break and need to be replaced. 
     
    Either way Both models are very reasonably priced for what they offer and I would not hesitate to buy either model.  Personally If it came down to availability , that would be the one I would buy.

    Ok thanks for the input. Is it hard to get use to fishing from a yak? From the sitting position bc I usually am standing in a boat

    Nope, not for me. When your sitting and very comfortable you will get used to it quickly. It wont take you long and you will like it even more than standing. At least I did.

    Josh did you get the Eagle Talon?  
     
    I own an F&S Eagle Run and was wondering what you thought of the talon?  The tracking on the ER is poor, the foot pedals have broke, and the oversized c0ckpit makes reaching for the rods mounted out front difficult (a trade off that I am more than happy to make, space vs. reach) otherwise it has been great.  I lost the drain plug and have given up hope getting an 'official' F&S replacement.

    You could always check out my kayak that is for sale in the classifieds ;P After all of my research I went with Perception.
