I posted the ? to see how many guys r doing that and what their fav
I have caught a ton of erie steel and ny steel on flys
I just never usded steamer that much

I have never usded steamers that much either.

We had a lot of luck on Elk last season with Clouser's. We also did well with a streamer tied with "Hackle Flash" in silver or gold. Simple white marabou streamers will pick up fish also.

Streamers are all I fish in the fall! I don't even tie on an egg or nymph untill it gets really cold.

FOr steelhead, any streamers will work, but nothing really beats an olive bugger!

Yea baby. The best when it is low and clear and you see your prize bee line to it and crush your fly. Nothing is better than that.
