I plan on making a trip up to erie may 30-june 1 to fish the streams for smallies. i'll be staying on north creek rd. on elk creek. is it worth going to any other streams for smallies? what streams get the best runs of smallies? should i fish the mouth of the streams? any advice would be appreciated...thanks

I have been fishing elk for the last month for smallies. Fish are on reds everywhere. We caught smallies a month ago up by I-90. Don't know if other streams have them like elk. Good luck
