Went up last weekend,had very little luck.Caught 4 12" CRAPPIE seems slow,but some guys catching small ones.Anybody else having any luck?  Thought about going up golden run,but never tried for crappies up there,any ideas.I will be up there this weekend also,will try my luck,sure feels nice to be fishing though.Good luck to all

Check with Chaunc...he is the "King of Crappies", especially at Shenango!  Last I heard him say, deeper water over stumps.  I did pretty good in the Celery Farm area this time last year.  Have not been up there yet this year, just Moraine a couple of times.

Didn't fish today but yesterday they were still in the deep water. I got some as deep as 24ft. Used a 1/4oz jig to get down to them. If you see fish in deep water while motoring to your spot, throw a marker out and go back and try to find them again. They were over some wood on the bottom. Dont hesitate to try shallow tho. Water has to have heated up today. Try downed trees and shallow brush too.
