will be heading over sunday, but have never fished here. is directly below the dam the best spot, or are there holes downstream that may hold smallies and other fish? don't want hotspots, just would like to know if i should head on down the creek? thanks.

i live right in town if u go up stream from dannys fish the old swim beach u will get a ton of smallies and probly pick up some trout. if u go farther up to the bend ull get pike on top water and if u fish the deep hole can still get a few walleye probly small though

There are fish up and down the river but the sluces (dam) are always the main fish holding area. Water flow and time of year are the major contols to catching fish on the river. Lots of pics of the river on my site. http://community.webshots.com/user/captainhook107

get off on 80 go toward hermitage get off in hermitage take 18 north untill u get to lamor road (will be sheets on one corner and grociery store on other) take a left follow this road through a redlight 2 stop signs then take a right on high st follow this road and you will cross the river go by the wall and if you miss that you'll end up in the lake
