Read the article how can it be a state record if it's caught in a private pond, or doesn't that matter.

I do find it hard to believe NC's record channel cat is only 21 lbs.

those are the same little rod's me and my uncle would use to catch carp on in a spillway!

the one went flying into the water tho only to be retrieved minutes later by a big lipped rapala... haha

There might be hell to pay if you steal the kids dora rod. My g/f and I have a Shakespeare Rainbow rod and reel combo. We might have to use it today and see what kind of mojo it brings us.. photos coming soon
