Yeah, I can't wait to do some winter fishing on the tribs. The drive up usually sucks but got to love chrome in the winter. RED SOCKS SUCK!! GO YANKEES!!!!!

alot of people tell me that was a rainbow, i think its a steelhead. It does not have that normal fresh black/white fresh steel look. Anyone know for sure what my fish is. I let it go.

Thats what I thought. The crappy picture does not do it any justice. The colors were really cool. Ive gotten alot of steelhead over the years and none of them had the same colors. Hell this past year I must of had 40 plus females and none were as nice as her.

A steelhead is a rainbow, a rainbow is a steelhead. The only difference is that one is an ocean run strain and "tend" to be bigger. The world record is a landlocked rainbow. I don't think biologist differentiate the two in terms of family and genera.
