See more and more of it everyday on this site.  And it is tolerated.  Ive even seen a few comments from a moderator.  Disgraceful.  I know fishermen are a huge cross section of life and culture but I thought we were better than that.  Guess I forgot I was in Western PA what was I thinking.  A guy talks about a fishing spot and he is in danger of an angry mob with torches showing up at his door but the more racist comments I see on this site the more replies I see enouraging and agreeing with it.  Strangely there are just as many religous posts.  Hoping these are different members but I have not kept track.  Am I the only one noticing?

Contrasting how offended people are of a spot burning post to how little reaction a racist remark receives.

Go easy joe. I live in a very mixed enviorment. We all get along. My girl is a minority. Im not a racist, I say the same things to my friends of color and they give it back to me. In fact that is how you develope a better relationship among race. All this sensitivity crap is not reality. When someone bust your balls, your being accepted. I know out in the country you seldom see a black person, at least in the areas I fish. So there may be a little more sesitivity going on. I treat everyone the same unless your an asshole, of any color.

Im as white as they get JF.  I just read a lot of posts here that have nothing to do with jokes.  There are many that are but many that you can tell what's behind it.  Im finding it hard to believe even if that's one's opinion that they would put it in writing even on a fishing site.

WOW! Jonny, you have crossed the line. Joe has gotten sick again I'm sure. No I don't have a lamp like that. My lamp near my computer is made of a human foot that I found, don't know what religion it is though. Doesn't matter, it is a good solid base and doesn't tip over.

"My girl is a minority.".......Islander Fan????

Maybe I missed the posts in question, but I haven't noticed any racism on here...maybe some strong opinions and F'ing around, but I think thats healthy...

If anyone is missing it its all around this site.  I just think its ugly to say some of this sh-t on a fishing site hiding behind screen names.  I joke as much as anyone, but Im talking about much more than that being said on here.  If you dont care or dont see it fine, no sweat off my back.  Just ignorance piling up.  Makes us all look like a holes.  You even chastize me for caring about something that should be cared about.  Pretty dumb.  Talk about Philly all you want but the first day I went to college in Western PA I heard the N word more than I had in 10 years growing up there.  And where I went to school the only black guys were playing sports.
