hate to say it, but corn.  chummed and then put a few kernels on a #8 octopus hook.  my fly fishing experience to date has been small panfish but after reading here, i wanted to feel a bigger fish on the long rod.

hmmm

thats exactly what i used in the river back home on my spinning rod

worked for 3 or 4 big carp almost everytime i went out

i cant wait to hook into one of them on my fly rod

I caught this one in the hudson river he faught for 10 minutes ...nice little 20 pounder
