Rock: go easy on these guys.  You can tell your side without being so inflammatory.  After all, tho some of them may have misguided opinions on government, but sometimes they make good points too. Like Jonnys post about the government spending being an indirect tax on the middle class.  And, they all fish, right?  So you have something in common.

FLAT TAX. Everybody has to pay then(evenly). Buy a big boat, pay 22%. Buy a little boat pay 22%. Buy anything new,22%. The used part, not so sure, should be left up to the states(no doubt PA will charge 45%). No taxes taken out of your pay all year(except for your healthcare and savings) you take everything home the gov't now takes away for Medicare,SS,etc. But no one will get behind this because the rich are afraid it will hurt future income and the politicians are afraid it will hurt thier scare tactics and influence over the middle class and poor via an uncertain and scary future.

No one wants this but it is the best thing for the people and the states.

F-the gov't for the recent  years of assault on our citizens rights
F-PA for thier control over our citizens, the result of decades of Democrat rule

This is not on party lines, more people should avoid either party and make them listen to us again.

i agree with ya goby,a flat tax would be great, everyone would have to pay it,no matter how rich, and you would think govt would be for this cause they can still rake in their funding capital,,,,yes we need to hold both parties responsible, really i think most do,its just the parties themselves blame each other for political pandering,,what chance would a party have to gain power if they went around praising the party in power,it is a defeat from the start

"F-PA for thier control over our citizens, the result of decades of Democrat rule"

What Penna, do you live in?

Republicans hold both houses, have for quite some time, 2 of the past 3 and, 3 of the past 5 governors have been Republicans, and in the past 45 years, we've had 5 Republican governors, and 3 Democrats.
