I am going to purchase a sling pack in the near future. A friend has a Safe passage and I also have seen a Patagonia. Feedback on any sling style pack would be appreciated...

i would say ney to a sling pack... personally
tried the patagucci (double haul) and the whorvis (safe passage)...
DH- too much $$
SP- didn't like it

bought this instead

it can be worn as a chest pack... or it has large belt loop on the back for summer

The william joseph "old school" satchel is the best i've seen....

The quality of the william joseph packs is hard to beat. They are very well built, and well thought out. I got the confluence pack this year and love it.

A few of my friends have them, and really like them. I'm not sure why I haven't bought one myself yet.
