I was at the beach last week and saw a boat bring in a 186.9 lb tuna to the harbor where we were for a fishing contest
took her 2 hours to get it in

my girlfriend and I also got out for some flounder and sea bass fishing
I will post the pictures later today or tomorrow

Fisherchic,
Thanks for sharing the pictures. You open with "We went to St.Marys" but that looks like wykoff run in Sinnemahoning to me...My buddy took a knee and proposed to his present wife on that very rock. My camp is just a mile or two away. Anyway you confused me a bit(easily done)...

It's been a great summer. Did a ton of fishing as always, and played a decent amount of golf.

This guy decided to take a rest on my golf bag

Got my girlfriend into fishing!! She still won't touch the fish though haha

Got to a couple DC United games this summer.

Went to the Harrisburg ZOO
The Bobcats had a litter of 4

And the best part of summer... what comes out of the garden!

My grandma's famous recipe for HOT pickles.

that does look like some summer fun KJH!

we put some habanero peppers in with the garlic dill we made last year. made a nice spicy dill.
good pickle recipes are hard to find! they aren't hard to do, it just takes some time
this is the first time I'm trying spears, I hope they turn out well.

thanks mikastorm :)

Last year was the first year I canned pickles. Half of them turned out awesome the rest were ok. Some of the peppers weren't hot enough. I grew Habaneros, Cayenne, Jalapeno, and Serrano's this year. They should def. be good and spicy!

Hard part is waiting to eat them.

last week my girlfriend and I got out on a little charter for about 3 hours total for some bay fishing for flounder, sea bass, and croaker
we ended up catching alot of fish, but my girlfriend was the only one to get the keeper
and it was also the biggest fish caught on the boat!

this is me taking the hook out of a croaker, didnt get a real good pic of the fish tho....

here is one of the many sea bass we caught, unfortunately they were all this size but very pretty..

here is my girlfriend Tina with her flounder!  it was only 18.5" 2 lbs but she was sooo happy to catch the only keeper.  It really made her day :)

Just some pics of a few flounder they had to be atleast 19 inches. Also a couple of crab that we caught in May they werent there in numbers but I managed to get a few. Out of 6 pots I got about 7 a day. But when I went back in June there were plenty of crabs. The first day i caught 70 crabs then about 50 the rest of the day out of 6 pots.

For Virginia it is 19" doesn't that just suck haha. A lot more throwbacks than last year but a lot of 10-15 inchers. So the years coming should be good.

Don't have many pics uploaded to photobucket of this summer's fun...

But, i do have a link to a short clip from taking Curtis Fleming of Fly Rod Chronicles fishing on a WV Stream...  The actual show aired on The Sportsmans Channel July 12 & 13, but here is a link of a clip from the show...

http://www.flyrodchronicles.tv/
click videos, then West Virginia....

here is a pic of a nice musky caught in the late spring...  the pic was taken by a camera phone...  the musky measured out at 43.5" and it was caught on a "Snake Fly" with the ole 7wt...  lots of fun!

Here is a pic from a brookie trip:

maybe i can upload a few more...

As W.C. Fields used to say, " I love children", "as long as they are cooked properly". Do you slow roast, or deep fry?
