nope ,not in oil entirely as you say,,we supply oil industry, i dont get no special breaks,pay the same as you at pump,,, and jonjon,the problems you talking about,you mean all these homeowners,that knew they couldnt afford the payment and now we bail them out,,,you mean these mortgage lenders that knew they couldnt get repaid for these loans and now we are bailing them out,, i say ,we should have let them all go down,, lenders and homeowners alike that got in this mess,,, i make my payment,all tho i didnt buy a house i knew i couldnt afford,,, pure stupidity, so much for the people that used their heads and made their payments ,,where is their help, screwed again for doing the right thing,,, but from govt we hear ,GOTTA DO WHATS RIGHT FOR AMERICA, for what ,to get screwed again,,,

Do you really blame the homeowners. They were able to buy a house because the bank gave them a payment they can afford. Do you think the bank told them , your payments can double ,no the banks said at worst , it could go up a bit. The gov shouldnt have bailed out the banks that made trillions.(they had to)even though the banks that folded made billions. The banking industry is one of the most corrupt buinesses in the world. They should have done what is best for the people . They should have step in and regulated the banks, they allowed them to rape us again, and then they bailed them out. SICK

Actually, I do blame the homeowners for 50% of the problem. I too, was offered the variable rate which was better but chose the fixed rate. I knew it was currently in 2002 within my pay rate but thought better of it since I could not foretell the future. I was also offered the interest only loan but did not want to pay on a house I was not going to sell soon or "flip". You're right. The gov't shouldn't have bailed them out, just let the big companies die. But I still feel bad for the folks who got stuck in the game. That is why there are neighborhoods like in Orlando that are mostly empty from foreclosure.

yes , so the ones that make their payments are the ones getting screwed,again,you pay it cause you can,but this one couldnt afford it so you pay for his to,,, what a crock of sh--t,,, should of let em all drown in their own stupidity,homeowner and bank,,, no one bailing me out, guess cause i do things in my means
