Anyone fish this lake, I hear it is a very good flathead and musky lake.

Think its electric motor only.....fished it one day after going to cabelas.....was raining in PA so I bought an ohio license and continued on to piedmont and got skunked from shore......pretty small lake if i remember correctly......Ohio Fish comm. has a great web site with topo maps of almost all the lakes.

Its a fairly large lake, I hunted in the area and it always looked good.
They rent pontoons at the marina.

we fished piedmont in the spring for muskies.  had a few nice fish follow but no takers.  a local told me that they fish for cats by the dam at night. if your going for muskies try the bay by the marina and essex bay.  piedmont is 10 hp limit.

Never fished it but know a few guys that do (I'm originally from OH).  Can't really comment on muskies, but it can yield some trophy flatheads...if you know where and how, and have plenty of patience.  Hard to get specific information from most of the flathead fishermen as they try their hardest to prevent the exploitation (and harvesting) of these trophy fish.   Personally, I never got the hang of fishing for flatheads in lakes...always preferred the rivers.

try leesville for cats & muskie

Those are all nice lakes. There are some big deer in the area also.
