"Governor Rendell, joined by Michael Dell, announces that the Commonwealth has awarded Dell a contract that is expected to save Pennsylvania taxpayers $19.1 million annually. The Governor's strategic sourcing program is broad in scope but simple in concept. It seeks to make the state live by the rules that families and businesses have lived by for years-- buy only what you need, not what you want" I wonder how much of this savings will be passed on to you and me? Or is most or all or more than all of it eaten up by corruption and criminal activity rampant thru both houses and both parties? To me this is the same thing as the mafia saving the businesses they control by purchasing cheaper ammunition and driving Oldsmobiles instead of Cadillacs.
