Not any help, but may make it seem not so bad.

A daughter of a friend is a distance runner and while running in a race, got the squirts which I guess is common for distance runners. She dropped off the course in the woods, dropped her shorts and emptied her bowels, and then, you guessed it, chose the wrong leaf to wipe with. Humorus story but she was in bad shape for a while. Maybe your arm doesn't bother you as much now?

That was......interesting.

Thanks

Sorry about that. Just thought it may make your area of itch seem not so bad.

Personally have never had poison ivy despite spending most of my youth in the woods or along a stream or river, must not be allergic to it. I do however watch for and try to avoid it when possible. My son has on occasion had bouts with it, hydrocortisone seems to work for him fairly quickly.

Good luck and I hope it's getting better for you.

I still use the medrol dose packs.  6 pills the first day, 5 the second, 4 the third......ect..  My doctor doesn't even ask come archery season he just calls them in.  Conversation usually goes like this....
"Hello, Dr. ????????'s office"
"Hi, this is Ike"
"Oooohh, must be archery season again, I'll just call it in."

lol

I know people who never had it their whole life and then started getting
it real bad. It used to spread bad on me but now, it will appear and
not spread. I think my system has built up a immunity to it.

I guess I'm lucky, I've always been able to walk right through it without getting a rash. It comes in handy when geocaching everyone seems to place them near poison ivy.
