What length do you prefer for your leaders? Running off Dipsy's. When trolling for the eyes.

Goose

Iassume you mean off the back of dipsys. I run an 8ft section of 20# Seaguar fluoro with no snubber, unless I run into some steelhead, then I'll attach a snubber. It absorbs the brutal shock that a steelie has on the initial hit.

6 to 8ft 20lb floro no snubber drag as loose as it can be i also run powerpro line 16or 20lb test had steelies rip a snapring apartbut very few will use the same rig for salmon and they can get 30lb +hope that shed some light oya the berkley is cheaper but stiff not recomending it yet

Anymore than 4 to 6 feet is a waste of line and money as far as I'm concerned, but you do what you want to do.  I run about 4' off the dipsy + a snubber to the lure and catch plenty.  Good Luck!

I only have a 16 1/2 ft boat so i need to run shorter leaders. I found 3 to 4ft work for me. Any longer and we have trouble netting the fish.
