formerguide -> FOR SALE: Waterworks/Lamson ULA reel (6/26/2008 9:16:24 AM)

I have a Waterworks Lamson ULA Force 3X reel for sale- I have literally used this reel 2 times- once on a bonefish trip, and once for carp. Looks absolutely pristine- not a mark on it. I'm gonna throw it on Ebay, but first thought I'd let anyone on the boards take a shot at it.

This is about the lightest quality 7/8wt reel available, and is at the top of the foodchain for Waterworks/Lamson. Retail on this is $459- I'll let it go for $250- still have the box, paperwork, etc... will include free backing of your choice if you want it too. Please PM me if interested- if I don't sell it here by Mon, it's going on Ebay.

Here's a link to their website- sorry for putting it on this board, but no one reads the fly fishing sale board...

How do you like the drag system on that reel? And what rod did you have it on. I have a 9'-6" 8wt I'm looking to pair it with.

Looks easy to take apart and clean also.

Awesome drag- very smooth, very strong. Had the reel on a 9' 8wt Scott X2S rod. No need to clean- fully sealed and self-lubricating (in fact, not recommended to clean at all!)

Call me and we can discuss.

Dan
