I kind of agree with carp actually. I've sat at a ramp where an inconsiderate fellow angler positions his boat on the ramp, then gets out, puts all his gear in the boat, then procedes to prepare for launch... Have that stuff done before you get to the top of the ramp!! Have the boat ready to go before you hit the ramp... Hell, launch it, then tie if off and put your gear in. Some people have no consideration for other people. There are however, also lots of people who are very considerate and launch as quick as possible to allow others access. The people who leave a bad impression are the ones you remember. [:)] By no means do I have to launch a large boat, but generally, we are on the ramp for an average of 5-10 minutes tops. Boat is ready to go, gets loaded and prepped in the parking area, backed down, dropped off and the car is parked. In and out. Next car...
