fishON4Me -> Rod Reel Setup? (6/24/2008 5:46:28 PM)

Hello fellow fishermen/women! I am in the market for a new rod and reel set up but I do not rezally want to spend over $50. I was hoping to use at least a 6'6" or 7ft. rod and a nice spinning reel. I fish from shore and usually use nightcrawlers and artifical baits. Oh yea, this rod would primarly be used for bass fishing and the occasional perch fishing later in the fall. Any and all suggestions are greatly appreciated.

Here are a couple of options:

These should be pretty much what you are looking for.  Give the folks at FishUSA a call and they will get you set up.  Good luck.

Is it best to have a Medium or medium-heavy rod? I plan on using 10lb line. Currently I am using 12lb but on a cheapy rod/reel set-up from wally-world.
