Status: online 		Rock do you do anything else other to start some political thread to justify the current pres position. Have you had any conversation outside of politics on this forum? You can't fix or justify stupid. Plain and simple this pres. came out backwards from day one of his life.

Status: offline 		In no way a defense Scottie since no defense was needed. A political analyst's job is to make predictions as to how certain situations will affect a political race. He was doing exactly that. It was not a smart thing to say but its a stretch making it a big deal.

Status: offline 		SALTY,I DO MORE THAN POLITICS ON HERE,,,i aint justifying nothing bush does,he srewed up,, along with every liberal representative in govt,,, but dont think obama is right for this country either cause he will make bush's mistakes LOOK LIKE CHILDS PLAY,,, read and listen what obama is about,,dont take my word,,, he doesnt hide about higher taxes,, now he is insulting the christian religion,he feels we need to lower our life standards, he doesnt believe in personal freedom,,, READ AND LISTEN

Status: online 		Before I start this I'm not an obama fan. I'm not defending obama by no means,but what is it that makes bushs mistakes such a non-issue to you that you would compare him to obama in the same sentence. You really need to stop taking what any media of any channel has to say w/ a grain of salt. He has as 1 person put it changed the bible to his like. Now hasn't bush changed the constitution to his likes. What's worse our freedoms or a belief. Now I am christian but do not follow or believe in it as some other people do. This may draw a bit of a problem here but the church has many more worries in its house than to be concerned w/ a comment made and viewed as slanted or not. On top of which he doesn't have the right side of the church behind him right or wrong. To me it's the same as the blacks calling all repb. haters of the black community. Its one persons view. Again until the church cleans up its own act I find very little trust in their words.

Not to sure how you can draw a conclusion on obamas time in the senate, based on he has no voting history. He was "present" for voting, doesn't mean he voted for or against. He was in the room.

It's funny how you mentioned "every lib. rep." but failed to include every cons.repb. in gov. Now there's a group of do nothings. Just a whole lot of yes sir'. Forget that they had a mind of their own. Just plain sheep.

I thing I do know about the upcoming election, is I'll be voting every incumbent out regardless of party. I'm sending my own message of change. This is what all of us have to do.

how can you say every?  for seven years, the republicans held control of the house and senate.  look at what happened in those seven years, including the no child left behind program.

can't generalize like that.  there are just as many, if not more, immoral and incompetant elephants as there are donkeys.

Status: offline 		yes , dems held control since jan/2007,,, yes many republicans also are the blame,, i never defended them either,,, have you heard the speech from obama the other day, he compared dobson on the same lines as al sharpton in saying who do we want a sermon told to us by,, i like you salty on 2 facts,, i definetly am not voting no incumbents back in,, for pres. it will be a third party canidate,, let down to much with a 2 party system,,plus i am christian ,but not a church going christian,, i do my beliefs myself,,i dont trust no church anymore,,, not obamas time in senate,salty,, its what he says that is so far left, its unamerican,, listen to his speeches,,he despises everything this country stands for,,

That one I always liked the best. So lets group a lie and a real war on terror together. What is it that makes you so american that you can pass judgment on someone else? Please explain,since I must be a lost soul and at the presents of greatness.

Status: offline 		salty,not about his stance on the war,, his policies he wants to push forward,, example, do you feel we should change our way of life cause we live better than most other countries,,, are you for the biggest tax hike in history,,he even went as far as saying we eat what we want when we want,,how does that look to other countries,,personally,i dont care what some third world nation thinks of me,,his policies are not for us, right now,, bad economy,but lets raise taxes,,lets spend more on social programs, national health care,,we have one called medicare and welfare,,neither work the way ment to.
