I fish the upper lake with spinner all the time and do well for the bass.  When standing on the dam the looking to the back of the lake I fish the right side back to the handycap dock then from the about two thirds of the way back to the back of the lake around to the where the vet memorial is.  The bottom lake I fish from the rock on the breast and do well also for the bass.  I use nothing but lures when I fish here for Bass.

expect small bass, but alot of them. throw rubber worms and you will get the small ones The lake isnt much deeper then 6 feet.

Both lakes have depths of over 20' in places. Easily verified when there is ice on the lakes. The channel between the handicapped piers on the upper lake is approx. 16' deep about 75yds from shore, in front of the breast near the middle I have marked 22'. The woods side of both lakes is deeper than the road side.   sam

I didnt realize that, I dont really go all out there and fish find the deeper part.  i thought i heard that when that guy dround a couple years ago it was only 6-10 feet deep at the most but i believe you

You may catch only small bass, but there are BIG bass in there.  Sometimes you seem em off the sidewalk around the lower lake. Getting them to hit is another story.  But there are some nice ones.

Anyone know if there are minnies available nearby?

Just don,t rely on that bait shop. I went there twice last week in middle of the day and it was closed.

If I remember correctly, I also saw a live bait sign in front of a house on Crabtree road.  Coming FROM Twin Lakes, follow Twin Lakes road to the end, make a left onto Crabtree road, and its just 2 or 3 houses past the Fur Post road on the right.  Never been there, so I can't tell you what they have or the hours they keep, but it's something you might consider.
