Anyone been up to Shenango yet this year? Just wondering how its been. Where and what are those bass hittin' (not asking you to give up any secret info., just want to know if anyone has done any good recently up there)

Fished with Bob Frye from the Tribune Reveiw wednesday. He wanted to do a story on crappie fishing Shenango lake and contacted the park ranger, who gave him my number, or email. He came up and had a pretty good time. Took some pictures and caught some really nice slabs. Said the story may be in the sunday edition. Next week, i'm setting up a day to fish with Daryl Black, an outdoor writer from our area, that's done a lot of articles for Crappie world, fishin facts and a host of other mags. Hopefully the weather will get better.

Fished it yesterday, mostly rain.  Caught a few slab crappie but mostly stripers were hitting as we trolled around looking for crappie.

Nice job Chauncy.  I'm heading out fishing with my wife on Monday and wasn't sure if we should go for muskies, waleye or crappie.  She said she just wants to catch fish, so I guess we may just head to Sharpsville....will you be out there Mon?  If so, I'll keep an eye out for you.  Take care...
