You don't say where you're fishing but in ponds and shallow streams begin with the ones that look like minnows which is probably what your bass are eating. I'd start with floating silver and black #7's and #9's. Then experiment from there. The above posters are correct, bass will hit most rapalas but I'd suggest "matching the hatch" first. Get some fishing magazines such as Bassmasters & Field & Stream. Soon you'll have hundreds (or thousands) of lures like the rest of us! [sm=fun_84.gif] Don't forget it's not just the lure but how you fish them. P.S. I just noticed you asked about "something else". You're going to need a bigger tackle box! Tubes, plastic worms, senko types, spinnerbaits, etc, etc, etc. They all work, if you learn to fish them correctly.
