Yeah, there was that 8 lbr on the Commission survey a few years ago as well...  I've only fished it once for bass and did quite well there.  Hard to launch a boat though.

Yeah ive been fishing there from a kayak.  Really nice place when the trout crowd settles.  Found some nice crappies the other day too.

We fished around the island in a 12 foot jonboat that didn't need a ramp.  We caught fish on buzzbaits all day, mostly smaller ones, but a few good ones were mixed in.  I keep contemplating buying a float tube just to fish there and Canonsburg.

Yeah, I'd rather fish NP than Canon, NP kinda has the woodsy feeling as opposed to Canon with the CVS right over the hill.
