Seen that on the news. I think they said a guy was jumped over the bridge when he saw a car coming straight towards him. It should be in the paper or on the news again later on.

Crazy!

http://www.postgazette.com/pg/08315/926847-100.stm

A New Castle man jumped off a bridge this morning and into Lake Arthur after a traffic accident on Route 422 in Muddycreek, about 30 miles north of Pittsburgh.
Michael K. Wells, 48, had been traveling east on Route 422 at 5:35 a.m. when he noticed the car ahead of him had lost control on the icy bridge over Lake Arthur near Moraine State Park, state police said.
Mr. Wells was unable to stop his Toyota Camry, and it collided with a Thunderbird being driven by Sylvester E. Lane, 35, of New Castle.
Both men got out of their cars to inspect the damage when they noticed other vehicles, including a tractor-trailer, barreling down on them.
The men ran closer to the concrete barrier along the berm where Mr. Wells jumped into Lake Arthur.
Neither man was injured in the accident. However, Mr. Wells, who had been in the water for at least an hour, was taken to UPMC Presbyterian by helicopter for treatment after he was rescued from the cold lake waters.
He was in fair condition today, a hospital spokeswoman said.

Had a adult land in a dead tree top 'bout 50 yrds in the Wetlands for about 40 min. while on a youth duck hunt in Oct. with two young wippersnappers shootin' 'bout a box ov shells at ducks on the wing.

Headin' to the shed in a few min. for a very big net. Headin' out in the am. with ropeinlipp for toothy snakes. If we get a nibble I'll post later. Gonna try & make it out 2-3 times a week for awhile waterfowl/pikein'. Wind & snow in the face don't get much better on the boat 'round here. A bear is hangin' close to the house & saw my 1st blacker than coal bushytail near the lake last week. Oh yeah saw a Porky also at first light. See tons up north but very few near Arthur. Must be a good bit around 'cause Timmy gets a good bit ov quills in his coon pelts.

Smitty, I'll pm sometime tomarrow.

Crappy

Oh yeah, that Mike an' ike in a Alley guy is gonna spend a couple weeks at Timmys huntin'/fishin' little buddies house for this springs FLW TOUR that is gonna be held in Pitts. Timmy & his friend are planin' to go spring gobbler with 'em.

hit arthur from 1-6. did some scoutin for a bit, water level down. took note of some structure that may help me out in the spring. lots of weeds but did manage 1 LM about 15 inches and slightly over 2lbs. Ran into another fella who was having much better success than I. He pulled out 3 northerns in the 20-24 inch range and 1 4.5lb 20 inch LM. She was perty! Thanks for taking some time and sharing your fishing knowledge with me. Greatly appreciated. Hopefully someday I'll be able to hook into fish regardless of conditions or seasons and return the favor to someone else like that guy willingly did for me. Never fished arthur this late so was a definite learning experience. Even though the fishing was poor for me it was a great day to be out and about.
