yikes!!!  I fish by myself 99% of the time and pulling out at 2am, makes me a litte nerved as it is!  Last week at Bear Run there was no one on the Pier, no one in the little bay next to the launch, and yet there were 5 cars in the lot with no trailors at 2am!

Any of you guys  have as much fun on Saturday night as i did????  Wife and I was there about 700pm fished for about ten minutes and then the lighting and thunder and OFCOARSE the rain. When back to dock loaded boat and covered and waited the storm out.  Took about a 1/2 hour to 45 minutes and back on the water. WE get  where we wanted to fish. Had 3 hits on the first cast and thinking this was going to be great!!!!! QUESS WHAT   the sky turned black and gray and BANG lighting wind and rain                                     So ended the night

Had a great night of fishing. caught over 20 LM and 1 4lb striper in 3 hours. all caught on topwater baits. my 2 biggest LM were 3.5 and 3lbs. tight lines all. even the raccoons came down to see what all the commotion was about.

Is it just me or are people rude that think u want to hear their car stereo blasted while out fishing. I dont get it? 30 minutes of that and I had to go to another spot but was a good thing I did. Glad they didnt follow!

Bill,

after the 17th sounds good so far. You can leave the boat at home if you want. Tim can take you out on his & Greg & I could take ours. Remember last year was a little tough with the HP limit on the lake with your boat. The Coopers Lake thingy should be over around then. Haven't worked in 5 months to spend time with the boys & fish.

Timmy has been slamin' bass durin' the day & Greg Stripers by night. Tim is on the lake now with Dream Catcher & his brother Greg, dodgin' thunder storms. Seems like a good arthurnoon for Skies if you ask me. I stayed home to clean Gregs fish & gettin' ready for cookin' Dear & Crayfish for when they get back. Gettin' out tonight for sure though since i called off the Flathead trip too the River last night.

Another camera bit the dust so down to a al;cheap'o

See ya soon.
    Crappy

Opps ment as a PM. & the old lady just got back & said the Coopers thing is at the end of July & Timmy will be helpin' settin' up startin' next week & workin' the store when it starts, thinkin' 'till 4:00 pm.

Don't forget the Wed. eve. Bass tornaments are at the 528 launch for the next few weeks. Just a heads up.

   Wally,

last night Dream Catcher, Timmy & I fished a crappie lake from 10:30 pm. 'till 6:00 am. but we were after bass .
Greg & I will start after some slabs & Eyes in a couple of weeks.

Timmy spends 95% fishin' for bass since May  Tim & I caught over 70 pike this spring. Just said to Dream Catcher & the boys fishin' tonight, that I can't believe we haven't landed a Musky yet this year buy accident. I'll have Timmy post a pict. of what Greg has been up to. He whooped Rippinlip & I the other night   Good thing Timmy don't eat fish & lets 'em go.

Matt bought another toy today & was out with a couple girls tonight while we went fishin'

Good Luck
     Chris

Chris ,
Thanx for the excellent feast . The crawdads were good even though the family didn't like em ; I thought they were a nice treat. See you on the water soon ; hopefully the cool temps keep the bait in for a little while ...... I'll keep you posted when the bass spot heats up.     DC

Just bought a Nitro 640 Bass boat and went out to Moraine Saturday. It was me, my dad, and my friend. I caught about 7 largemouth, my friend caught 13, and my dad caught 2 or 3 (hes an old man). The bass were decent size and my friend pulled out a PIG from under a boat dock!!!!! I might be going out there tonight, if not tonight then definately this weekend.

went out last night for the L/M action. Only managed 3 fish!? My buddy managed 4, one 3# beauty. topwater bite was real slow. anybody got any guess as to why that is. their was a good bit of moon out that brightened things up but otherwise typical conditions for me. surface activity was looking real promising as usual but couldnt figure a pattern. cant wait to try again.
